How was your day? [film]
What do you know about the people of Camberwell? In response to university Activist brief. How can design be used as a tool for social change? Designer as Activist locates itself in the public realm and explores ways of working with under represented communities. In this brief, we had to identify a community (big or small) that is currently marginalised or underserved by graphic design and spend time doing ethnographic research, engaging with this community and documenting everything we found, the questions we asked and the answers we found out. Following this, you we started to imagine ways in which graphic design might be useful, active, or enabling. Then we produced an outcome specifically for this community*, using appropriate platforms/methods/media, based on what you have learnt.

Sound into Vision [film]
This brief was made for a workshop with film director Alex Reuben. We found a sound recorded it and then by using only phones or laptop cameras we produced a 15" visual response to that sound. Being ambitious – 15 seconds is the standard duration for many television adverts, it was surprising how much you can achieve within this time.
